The cricketing world erupted as India claimed their sixth consecutive victory

in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 by crushing defending champions England by a massive 100-run margin. The win added another feather to the host’s unbeaten streak in the cricketing carnival.

After scoring 229 runs, the Indian bowling attack bundled out the English batting for 129 runs, handing them their fourth consecutive defeat in the tournament.

The verdict of Paul Collingwood on the ‘ball of the tournament’
Following the high-octane match, former English cricketer Paul Collingwood praised India’s bowlers for their thumping performance and for turning the tide in India’s favor. Collingwood also praised Kuldeep Yadav, saying that his dismissal of Buttler was most likely the ‘ball of the tournament.’

“And I just thought the ball was that once England got their first wicket, they didn’t give them a sniff.” After that, I considered the accuracy, skill level, and the fact that we get movement out of the pitch, and you hoped that the spinners would come on and just stick it on, but no such luck. “Kul Jos Buttler,”deep delivers probably the ball of the tournament to  Collingwood told Star Sports.
