West Ham set to undertake talks with director in London about interesting double deal

Real Betis officials are allegedly in London to discuss two potential deals with West Ham United.

According to a report from ABC Sevilla, Betis have sent negotiators to discuss deals for two players – Luiz Felipe and West Ham ace Pablo Fornals.

The East London outfit have been heavily linked with a move to sign the 26-year-old Betis ace, whilst Fornals, 27, is an alleged transfer target for Betis.

Hammers boss David Moyes has plenty of work to do in the transfer market this summer.

And it seems as though one incoming and one outgoing could be imminent…

West Ham set to undertake talks with director in London about interesting double deal

Real Betis sporting director Ramón Planes, and CEO Ramón Alarcón are in London to discuss the sale of Felipe to the Hammers and the possibility of bringing Fornals to Spain.

Now, the Italy international is valued at around £17 million, and I think that’s too much to pay for him.

He’s a decent defender but nothing more than that, and I believe there are plenty of better options available to Moyes in the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, I really don’t think West Ham should be letting Fornals leave the London Stadium.

Hopefully Moyes will give him a central role this season, and we will finally get to see the best of the 27-year-old Spaniard.

He absolutely loves the club as well, and it will be vital for Moyes to keep a player with that kind of passion around at the club.

Hopefully the Betis directors leave London with no deals agreed with West Ham!
