As the Browns continue to consider their quarterback choice, a key player returned to the practice field this week. Browns Injury Report Reflects Uncommon Good News Heading Into Week 14.

Based on their injury report for Week 14, the Browns seem to be improving in terms of health for once. Most remarkably, Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward made a limited recovery from his shoulder injury on the practice field. It’s a positive sign for the Browns, who are coming off consecutive losses in which Denver and Los Angeles both took advantage of their best corner’s absence.

Of course the big question that looms large for Cleveland heading into a key, late season matchup with the Jaguars is who will be starting at quarterback. Joe Flacco seemed to put up number worthy of a second go-around running the offense. But, head coach Kevin Stefanski and team brass have also seen some steady development from rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson in his back-to-back starts against the Steelers and Broncos.

For the time being, DTR is still following the concussion protocol and practicing infrequently, which might make Stefanski’s choice easier. Along with Thompson-Robinson, Amari Cooper, the team’s best wide receiver, is also awaiting updates from the offense. Stefanski gave off the impression that he would be able to clear in time for Sunday.

Ohio’s Cleveland — On Sunday, the Browns will host the Jaguars, who are currently atop the AFC South. The Browns are trying to stay in the thick of the wild card race and gain an advantage over the Jacksonville Jaguars should they lose their division lead, so this game is crucial for both teams in the playoff race.

On Friday’s preview podcast, Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock, and Dan Labbe talk about what to watch when the Browns play, possibly against a sidelined Trevor Lawrence on Sunday.

In order to analyze the film on the two quarterbacks the Browns might consider and provide strategies for taking the Jags on both ends of the ball, Lance Reisland joins the show.

Along with giving his prediction for the game and a prop bet he likes, Tyler Shoemaker also joins to discuss his rankings, favorite and least favorite NFL wagers, and more.

After that, Dan, Ashley, and Mary Kay choose their teams for the Browns vs. Jaguars game on Sunday.
