Priority OT target Favour Edwin will travel to Florida, Alabama, and Auburn before the early signing period.

On Wednesday, Edwin will meet with the coaching staffs of all three schools in Georgia at Eagles Landin Christian Academy. A decision may be made as soon as Thursday.
With only eight days left until the Early Signing Period, Alabama’s No. 4 ranked class is being finalized by the coaching staff. Among the states they visited last week were California, Texas, Florida, and Georgia. Nick Saban and a few of his assistant coaches also traveled extensively. Based on the confirmed in-home/school visits, Bama247 anticipates an even busier week. Here are the regular updates from our on-the-road tracking of coaches.

It was also a busy weekend this past weekend. Favour Edwin (McDonough, GA), a priority offensive tackle target, was one of Alabama’s six official visitors. Official visits were also made by Texas A&M LB commit Tristan Jernigan (Tupelo, MS) and DL target Steve Mboumoua (Canada). Make sure to check out Mboumou and Jernigan’s post-visit features on Bama247.

“I mean, it was amazing,” Edwin remarked about his weekend to Bama247. It’s Alabama, so naturally it’s fantastic. There, the standards are not the same. I was astonished by everything there, and it was incredibly enjoyable.”

Though Alabama’s matchup with Michigan is still a ways off, there’s still a lot of Crimson Tide sports to discuss.

For instance, the Alabama men’s basketball team is currently 6-3 after tiring last weekend against Purdue, which is ranked fourth.

This week, lists of the All-American teams from various outlets such as Walter Camp, the Football Writers Association of America, the Associated Press, and others are beginning to surface, with Alabama players featuring prominently on each one.

Along with several other College Football Awards from the 2023 season, the Heisman Trophy was given out last weekend. The players from Alabama were nominated but did not win those.

See, lots to talk about.

In the most recent installment of Roll Pod: An Alabama Sports Show from Bama247, staff writers Cody Goodwin and Mike Rodak discuss all of those subjects and more.

Staff members from Bama247 will talk about all things Alabama sports, including basketball, football, recruiting, and everything in between, twice a week. In addition to recapping and previewing games, we’ll analyze Nick Saban’s press conferences and occasionally feature interviews with players, coaches, and other
