Jets Injury Report: Thursday, Week 15 vs. Dolphins

Dolphins Notebook for Thursday: Complete Injury Report, Tua’s Analysis of Tyreek, and More
Vic Fangio talks about the Monday night collapses while the Dolphins continue to lead the Pro Bowl fan voting.

Following a day off, the Miami Dolphins conducted a walk-through on Thursday, and once more, their injury report was predicated on conjecture rather than actual practice data.

Nevertheless, there were only three positive changes made from the initial injury report to the updated report for the Week 15 game against the New York Jets: T Terron Armstead, CB Xavien Howard, and RB Raheem Mostert went from DNP (did not participate) to limited participants.

Unfortunately, G Robert Hunt (hamstring), C Liam Eichenberg (calf), RB De’Von Achane (toe), S DeShon Elliott (concussion/ribs), and WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) were the other five players listed as DNP for a second straight day.

Friday is the only regular practice the Dolphins have scheduled this week. After that, the team will release the final injury report and the players’ game status designations.

In contrast, the Jets made four changes that were all for the better.

OL Mekhi Becton went from limited to full practice, DL John Franklin-Myers and QB Aaron Rogers went from DNP to limited practice, and DL Solomon Thomas went from not practicing on Wednesday to participating fully.

Only two players—wide receiver Jason Brownlee (ankle) and offensive lineman Carter Warren (hip)—did not practice for a second straight day.

WORK ON YOUR SQUAD MOVES
The Dolphins released rookie center Alama Uluave to create space for veteran Melvin Ingram, who was officially signed to the practice squad on Thursday.

Uluave, who signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State, had been a member of the practice squad since the beginning of the regular season.

In order to address their center injury problems, the Dolphins preferred to have veteran Matt Skura on the practice squad.

UPDATE ON PRO BOWL VOTING
In case you missed it, the Dolphins’ standing in the second round of the Pro Bowl voting was unchanged, which is undoubtedly good news.

Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback for the Dolphins, is one of nine players leading the AFC in voting at quarterback, and he once again leads all NFL players in total votes.

Blake Ferguson, ST Duke Riley, Jalen Ramsey, KR Braxton Berrios, FB Alec Ingold, WR Tyreek Hill, T Terron Armstead, CB Jalen Ramsey, and RB Raheem Mostert are the other eight players.

The San Francisco 49ers received the most votes of any team, with the Dolphins coming in second.

Recall that player and coach votes account for one third of the selection process, in addition to fan votes.
