Packers players visit a local clinic to honor Green Bay veterans.
WBAY, Green Bay, Wisconsin For the holidays, a few Packers players surprised some veterans by showing up at a nearby clinic.
On Tuesday morning, the Milo C. Huempfner VA Clinic hosted the following Packers players: Patrick Taylor, Yosh Nijman, Kristian Welch, Henry Pearson, Benny Sapp III, and Kenneth Odumegwu.
They offered coffee, greeted veterans as they arrived for their appointments, and helped out around the clinic.
Veterans value the experience greatly, according to clinic administrators.
Clinic Administrator Tim Deacy stated, “I think it will make their day. Veterans do so much for us as a nation, and having the Packers take time out of their schedule to come out and say hi and thank you for their services is really neat.”
The veterans of the clinic were completely taken aback by the visit.
