An injury claims another starter for the Browns.

Anthony Walker Jr., a linebacker, will not play on Sunday due to a knee arthroscopic procedure.

When the Cleveland Browns play the Houston Texans on Sunday, it will be just another day and another starter out.

For the game on Friday, the Browns released their injury report. Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. was not only listed as out, but the team also disclosed that Walker had undergone a knee arthroscopic procedure, which would keep him out for a few weeks.

Walker said, “I’m good, I’ll be OK,” in response to a question regarding his injury that kept him out of last week’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Walker seemed to be taking a broad view when he said that it wasn’t serious, but even with a Browns team that has made a concerted effort this season to embrace the next-man-up mentality, it is still difficult to have him sidelined for another game and possibly longer.

Walker, center Ethan Pocic, cornerbacks Denzel Ward and Greg Newsome II, left guard Joel Bitonio, and the Browns have all missed one or more games this season due to injury.

Along with quarterback Deshaun Watson, running back Nick Chubb, offensive tackles Jack Conklin and Jedrick Wills Jr., safeties Grant Delpit and Rodney McLeod, and defensive tackle Maurice Hurst II, the team has also seen several starters go on season-ending injured reserve.

Along with Walker, the Browns have ruled out defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo due to a pectoral injury, safety Juan Thornhill due to a calf injury, and linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk due to a calf injury for Sunday’s game against the Texans. Bitonio is doubtful because he is still recovering from a back injury that prevented him from playing against the Bears last week.
