Crystal Palace New Manager: Crystal Palace FIXES new Manager, Eagles REAPPOINT Roy Hodgson till end of season - Check Out

Crystal Palace and Everton have both asked about signing ‘unplayable’ £16.5m man

Newcastle United could be braced for Premier League interest in Allan Saint-Maximin.

The summer transfer window is in full swing now, meaning rumours of a move away from Newcastle for Saint-Maximin are inevitable.

His future has been a hot topic of discussion since Eddie Howe arrived at St James’ Park, with the Frenchman proving to be less influential on Tyneside.

ASM was once the Toon talisman, but bigger names have arrived while Howe has found a way to be successful without the 26-year-old.

But that does not mean he is not wanted. There are plenty of reports about Saint-Maximin’s future, with many stating that Newcastle are not looking to sell.

However, a big offer might change things, and a new report states that the winger is attracting interest from the Premier League.

90min have stated that Saint-Maximin is an option for clubs in Saudi Arabia. Now they have added that two Premier League clubs have asked about his current situation.

They report that both Crystal Palace and Everton have asked about the £16.5million man, while AC Milan and Marseille are also keen.

ASM will hopefully stay at St James’ Park

This is an incredibly exciting time for Newcastle, with Champions League football on the horizon next season. Every player dreams of being in that competition, and Maxi is no exception.

On his day he is ‘unplayable‘. He has the talent to dazzle in the Champions League. We have seen him bamboozle the world’s best defenders, with Saint-Maximin running rings around Kyle Walker last season.

But consistency and end product is the key. The main thing for ASM is staying fit and getting a consistent run of games. And with better players around him, his end product should increase. He creates plenty of chances, and now he has better teammates to convert them.

Hopefully we see that next season, with a lot of Toon fans eager to see Saint-Maximin stay at St James’ Park. It would be painful to see him at another Premier League club, potentially thriving in a Crystal Palace or Everton shirt.
