UW Huskies expect injured RB Dillon Johnson to play vs Michigan

Seattle (AP) — Coach Kalen DeBoer of the UW Huskies stated on Wednesday that he anticipates his injured running back, Dillon Johnson, to participate in Monday’s College Football Playoff championship game in Houston against Michigan.

Dillon Johnson of the UW Huskies has scored three goals and has two more in sight.

In the last play of Washington’s 37-31 victory over Texas in the CFP semifinal at the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day, Johnson reinjured a right foot injury.

Johnson has been dealing with a foot issue for the past two months. He transferred from Mississippi State following the previous season. It was not revealed what kind of injury it was.

According to DeBoer, “nothing goes above and beyond what has happened in the past.” He would simply keep getting worse during the game, get better, and go back to playing. I believe he will be prepared to leave.
