Ohio State All-American WR Marvin Harrison Jr. is entering the NFL draft

Columbus, Ohio — Marvin Harrison Jr., an all-American receiver from Ohio State, is going to enter the NFL draft.

On social media on Thursday, the junior standout for the Buckeyes—the first player in program history to have consecutive seasons with 1,000 yards—announced his decision. Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN believes that Harrison, the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison Sr., is the second-best prospect in the draft.

 

Harrison wrote, “I want to thank God for giving me the skills and wonderful opportunity to play the game that I love at The Ohio State University.”

Harrison, who frequently served as the target of the opposition defense, finished the season with 67 receptions for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns. In 2022, he caught 77 passes for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Harrison wrote, “To Buckeye Nation, I hope I left lasting memories for you on the field, and the love I received from you all in the Shoe and on the road will be moments I cherish forever.”
