Six concepts will be developed by SSP America at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport.

A contract has been granted to SSP America at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to create a portfolio of six concepts.

Among the brands in the lineup are Tap & Pour Gastropub, Carmella’s Modern Trattoria, Taste of Belgium, Bengals Bar & Kitchen, and Dunkin.

Bengals Bar & Kitchen is a modern sports bar that honors the Cincinnati Bengals, one of the city’s most popular sports teams. It serves beer, cocktails, and food. With an emphasis on using ingredients that are locally sourced, Taste of Belgium provides a Belgian-inspired culinary experience. Its menu is diverse, offering both Belgian and American fusion dishes, and it has one of the biggest assortments of Belgian beers in the area.

Specifically designed for CVG travelers, Carmella’s Modern Trattoria is an Italian trattoria concept. With a chef-driven menu and scratch-made dishes, it offers a modern Italian full-service bar and restaurant experience. With a variety of premium coffees, espresso drinks, teas, frozen drinks, sandwiches, and baked goods, Dunkin’ has opened two new locations to provide all-day, everyday coffee and baked goods. A brand created especially for travelers and the airport setting is Tap & Pour Gastropub. In a cozy, full-service setting, it serves freshly prepared dishes with regional flavors along with handcrafted cocktails and hometown beers.

According to CVG CEO Candace McGraw, “we remain focused on elevating the airport, adding creative and new food and beverage options for travelers.” “We’ve had a lot of success introducing more regional flavors to the airport by working with local brands. We launched a number of new concessions last year, and in the upcoming years, we hope to implement these ideas.

As a direct result of strategic, long-term investment, CVG has a significant economic impact on the area, which the SSP America team values, according to Paul Loupakos, senior vice president of airport development and retention at SSP America. “Given our focus on giving travelers a true “taste of place,” we will be ardent members of the airport community, prepared to deliver an amazing passenger experience.”
