The Titans are reportedly close to finalizing an agreement with Brian Callahan, the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals, to take over as head coach. This information comes from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Despite being only 39 years old, Callahan has already gained a great deal of experience in the NFL and has won a Super Bowl as a member of the Denver Broncos coaching team that defeated the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.
In addition to serving as an assistant coach for the Broncos when he began his coaching career in 2010, he has also played for the Detroit Lions and the Oakland Raiders in the past.
Callahan isn’t exactly a headliner for the Titans, but he appears to have the expertise that Tennessee will need going ahead.
