Should the Colts use Lamar Jackson as their model for Anthony Richardson?
Among the quarterbacks on the Indianapolis Colts’ roster is one with a lot of potential. Last year, in a few quarters, Anthony Richardson scored four touchdowns on the ground and three passing touchdowns, giving the fans a taste of what he can do. His season was sadly cut short by an injury, but not before fans got to see a player who wasn’t quite as raw as everyone had assumed he would be coming out of college. Indeed, the signal caller has a lot of work ahead of him, but is this person of the same caliber as Lamar Jackson? Is he the
What else could you say besides “yes”? I’m not kidding; I’m asking. Is it possible for you to say anything but yes? The man has energy. He has the ability to go 3,678 yards through the air with 24 touchdowns and 8,21 yards on the ground with 5 more touchdowns. Steichen is the one who can extract the most from Richardson, if anyone.
The Colts, unlike the Ravens on Sunday, are sadly not participating in the AFC Championship game, but that doesn’t mean they can’t still make an impact on the game. Regardless of the outcome, Jackson’s season has been remarkable and ought to be imitated. The league will begin to fear Richardon in 2024 if the Colts can take anything away from his performance and apply it to Richardon’s, as they did with Jackson in 2023.
