Everton transfer news as Deniz Dilmen move wanted at Goodison Park

eEverton are battling it out with European clubs to sign teenage goalkeeper Deniz Dilme sensation n from Istanbul Basaksehir, according to Sporx.

The Turkish media outlet reported on 25 July that the Toffees are joined by Villarreal, AC Milan and fellow Premier League side Wolves for the 18-year-old, who is the youngest-ever keeper to play for the Super Lig side.

It said the clubs are looking to take advantage of Dilmen’s contract situation, with the teenager only having one year left on his current deal.

That performance has clearly caught the attention of scouts across Europe, who will no doubt have been impressed to see the keeper play in the Super Lig at such a young age.

Sean Dyche would be keen to sign the keeper up at G Parkoodison before his contract situation changes, as the report details that the Turkish club are looking to offer him a new three-year deal.

With Jordan Pickford constantly linked with a move away from Everton, it could be in the club’s best interests to try and bring in a young keeper that could learn under the England international.

There is clearly a lot of interest in him, so now could be the time to make a move before some of the other sides steal a march in the chase for his signature.
