College Football Analyst Issues Sever Warning to Ohio State Head Coach Ryan Day

Ryan Day, the head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, has had an excellent few weeks while recruiting. He has attracted a lot of elite players. The Michigan Wolverines, his most despised opponent, lost head coach Jim Harbaugh to the NFL and have had a number of players enter the draft. The Buckeyes are prepared to reclaim their Big Ten championship. ESPN’s Paul Finebaum, a college football analyst, is thrilled for Day’s accomplishments but has a serious warning for him

.

Finebaum has been outspoken in his endorsement of Day’s accomplishments over the past few weeks. But he also believes that Day is under a lot of pressure to win in 2024 because of this. Analyst Dan Orlovsky questioned Finebaum on ESPN’s Get Up if Day is “the new guy” that he should be closely examining. “Absolutely,” Finebaum replied. “I’ll finish that statement later if Ryan Day doesn’t defeat Michigan.” Finebaum said this in an interview that was conducted separately.

“I know exactly what he did, but with his popularity, he seems like a lost cause on Wall Street. This guy has issues if he loses to Michigan’s new coach, whomever that may be.

There’s no longer a justification. Harbaugh has left. There is a wealth of talent in the program. The Buckeyes must prevail. Day has a 56-8 record in Columbus, but a large portion of those victories have come against Big Ten cellar dwellers. Day’s record against Michigan is 2-4 in bowl games and, more significantly, 0-3 over the previous three years. Day might end up on the cutting board if he doesn’t make it into the elite program.

Is Ohio State able to win the Big Ten again? If not, the program might undergo some significant alterations.
