CM: Brahim Diaz is thriving at Real Madrid again after Milan made different decisions

Before going back to his parent club AC Milan, Brahim Diaz played for three seasons there. Since returning to the Spanish city, he has become even more productive.

Brahim spent three years on loan at Milan (first for a year, then for two), before moving to Real Madrid in January 2019 in a deal valued at €17 million. Carlo Ancelotti even expressed gratitude to Milan for their part in Brahim’s development.

The playmaker is the subject of a report on Calciomercato.com that begins with news from Diario AS in Spain, which states that he is set to switch from Nike to Adidas, a move that will probably bring in a few million dollars.

This season, the Spaniard has helped Real Madrid score seven goals and provide three assists, and he has often started the game off the bench. But the thing that really needs to be emphasized is how good he is at scoring the game-winning goals.

He has scored a number of goals for Milan (including the winning goal in the Champions League match against Spurs and a couple against Juventus), and he has now maintained the trend with Los Blancos.

Before Girona’s equalizer in the 93rd minute, Brahim’s huge goal in the Madrid derby last weekend gave Real Madrid a four-point lead over second-placed Girona. Brahim also scored the goal that won the Super Cup semi-final against Atletico Madrid.

Who knows if the Rossoneri are now second-guessing their decision to forgo paying €22 million to acquire him permanently. Still, it’s evident that the Madrid club had the option of a €27 million buy-back if it had been activated.

After Milan conducted additional evaluations, it became evident at the conclusion of the season that Brahim Diaz was not included in the 2024–25 plans. Samuel Chukwueze and other players were purchased with that money.

The former Villarreal player has only shown flashes of his talent; the Rossoneri are hoping for more from him, but in the interim, Brahim is proving his worth in Madrid.

Alphonso Davies and Leny Yoro, two summer targets, are under pressure from Real Madrid – report
Real Madrid is considering signing Leny Yoro of Lille and Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich.
The club will use a large portion of its funds to facilitate Kylian Mbappe’s transfer.
Los Blancos would prefer that the defensive duo not sign new deals with their current teams.

Real Madrid’s transfer goals It has been reported that Alphonso Davies and Leny Yoro have been informed that if they want to move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, they should not sign contract extensions with their respective clubs.

The focus of most discussion about Real Madrid’s summer plans has been on Kylian Mbappe, who is most likely to join the team for free from Paris Saint-Germain.

According to MARCA, Madrid’s budget will likely be less to spend on defensive reinforcements because the majority of it will go toward paying Mbappe’s wages, signing-on fees, and bonuses.

Davies of Bayern Munich is still Madrid’s top target at left back, but Yoro, an 18-year-old from Lille, has quickly become one of their preferred center back options.

Although Davies and Yoro’s contracts expire in 2025, it has been stated that Madrid will only be able to afford them this summer if they reject the offers from their individual clubs to extend. Should both players reach the last year of their contracts, Madrid might be able to sign them for a reduced price.

Madrid’s recent obsession with Yoro is partly a result of their success with other young French players, such as Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni, who were brought to the Spanish capital from Ligue 1 at an early age and went on to become big stars.

If a fresh contract is not agreed upon in the upcoming months, Los Blancos anticipate Lille to lower their €60 million asking price for Yoro. Yoro remains bound by the terms of the contract he signed with Lille when he became a professional at the age of sixteen.

Yoro is also a target for PSG, but Madrid feels they have the advantage because of their established reputation in the league and track record of developing young players.
