Tigers rookie observed hobbling while using an ice pack during practice

During training, Adam Doueihi, who is injured, was observed kicking the ball.

A Wests Tigers recruit was discovered at training with an ice pack on his ankle less than ten days before the first round of the preseason challenge.

Forward Samuela Fainu was observed hobbling around the pitch on Thursday during the team’s training session while wearing an ice pack around his ankle.

The extent of the injury is currently unknown, but it appears to be minor, and he was recruited from the Manly Sea Eagles. He should be available for selection to the team next week.

Although he didn’t hit the pitch until after the training session was over, injured playmaker Adam Douiehi was also spotted there. He was seen kicking the ball to a member of the coaching staff while recovering from his third ACL tear in his left knee

.

Doueihi will probably miss most of the upcoming season due to a knee injury sustained in Round 6 against the Parramatta Eels. He is unlikely to play again until the middle of the season.

With the additions of Jayden Sullivan, Aidan Sezer, Latu Fainu, and Lachlan Galvin, his future at the team is currently uncertain. He is free to negotiate with the Tigers and other teams at the end of the season, but his contract is still up.
