NFL Quarterback Jared Goff Signs With Jared the Jeweller in “A Tale of Two Jareds”

During the NFL season, Jared, the most upscale of the Signet Jewelers Ltd. divisions, formed a partnership that seemed like a natural for the business.

“We started to notice fans at every Detroit Lions game holding up signs saying, ‘We went to Jared.’ “It was a parody of the old Jared ads with the slogan, ‘He went to Jared,'” said Claudia Cividino, Jared’s president. “Therefore, we began focusing more on the group” — including Lions quarterback Jared Goff.

Jared published an advertisement in the Detroit Free Press honouring Goff, Detroit, and the supporters of the Detroit Lions just prior to the NFC championship game on January 28. The Lions had not participated in the NFL playoffs for thirty-two years. They advanced to the NFC championship game but were defeated by the San Francisco 49ers in a thrilling match.

Goff and Cividino met in a suite at the Four Seasons early on Friday morning in Las Vegas, the location of this year’s Super Bowl. She gave Goff a $11,500 Breitling Super Chronomat watch, along with ten additional ones that he could give to his Detroit Lions linemen as gifts. And a collaboration was finalised.
“He had no idea that we had made special personalised boxes for him, and he was truly moved by the gift that we selected for him to give to his linemen. Cividino stated, “He took a seat and autographed each of these presents. The box has the following writing on it: “Every moment of this year was timeless.” I’m grateful for the incredible season and for returning gridiron glory to Detroit. Appreciate Jared’s gift to you. From your own Jared.

The linemen will receive the watches in a week. In the future, we’re going to collaborate on additional projects. We won’t be discussing that at this time, Cividino stated. “There is traction to the partnership. About this, Jared is ecstatic.

The Cleveland Cavaliers professional basketball team commissioned Jared to create a medallion last year to honour its game MVPs, but this year’s sport tie-in is unique.

Although we have the same name, Jared, our relationship with the two Jareds goes far beyond that. Jared, the football player, was a heartthrob who touched not just his teammates but also the city of Detroit. As a brand, we believe we have certain things in common. We identified with him and his modesty. He is intelligent, grounded, and a hard worker.
