West Ham have just made an £8.2 million bid for 23-year-old right-back

West Ham United have reportedly made a firm bid for Spezia defender Emil Holm.

According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham and Brighton made €9.5 million (£8.2 million) summer transfer window proposals for Emil Holm – both of which were rejected by Spezia.

The East London outfit were first linked with a move to sign the 23-year-old right-back last week.

Hammers boss David Moyes is obviously keen to bring in an upgrade on Vladimir Coufal and Ben Johnson.

And it seems as though Holm is a player the Scot has his eyes on…

West Ham have just made an £8.2 million bid for 23-year-old right-back

Tuttomercatoweb reckon that the Hammers’ opening offer of £8.2 million has been flat out rejected by the Italian side.

Spezia are believed to be demanding closer to £12.8 million for the Sweden international (Tuttomercatoweb).

In 20 Serie A games for Spezia last season, Holm bagged one goal and one assist. During those appearances, the Swede averaged 1.3 tackles and 1.7 clearances per match (Who Scored).

The 23-year-old possesses impressive pace, is a really tenacious tackler and reads the game really well.

Holm is better suited when playing as a right wing-back because of his attacking nature, so if Moyes is planning to play with three centre-backs and two wing-backs this season, he would be the ideal signing.

Whether he’s worth nearly £13 million is debatable but I have to say that in this current market, anything under £20 million for a half decent player seems to be reasonable!

It will be interesting to see whether or not West Ham make another bid for Holm.

BREAKING NEWS: West Ham has accepted offer for ‘world-classic player ‘pushing hard’ to leave

West Ham accept offer to sell ‘world-class’ player ‘pushing hard’ to leave

A new transfer report has suggested that West Ham United are happy to allow Gianluca Scamacca to leave this summer and they have accepted an offer.

According romagiallorossaWest Ham forward Scamacca has been ‘pushing hard’ to leave the club this summer transfer window.

Roma have been one of the clubs interested and Scamacca would like the move. West Ham have apparently accepted the offer of a loan move from the Italian club.

The loan does come with an obligation to buy. The fee Roma would have to pay when the loan ends is around £17million.

West Ham will allow Scamacca to head to Roma

If Scamacca wants to leave the Hammers and a club are willing to sign him, then it seems like the transfer move benefits all parties.

West Ham will get a fee further down the line for him and they will move on a player who apparently doesn’t want to stay at the club.

The ‘unbelievable‘ player only signed last summer and came with a lot of promise. He is highly-rated, but it hasn’t seemed to work under David Moyes.

He has found it hard to start consistently and then wasn’t helped by an injury he suffered during the season.

No doubt he is prolific, but he has not yet adapted to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old has scored eight goals for West Ham in 27 appearances. This is a decent tally, but only three of these goals came in the Premier League.

The Hammers need a more reliable striker in the Premier League. With star man Michail Antonio now 33, they are looking for a new top forward.

They have Danny Ings, who is a very reliable striker, so allowing Scamacca to leave is definitely possible as long as they find a suitable replacement.

Report: West Ham has agreed to sign another talented player from…

Denis Zakaria is now closing in on West Ham move

West Ham United reportedly could seal the signing of Denis Zakaria within the next few days.

According to a report from Tuttosport, talks are ongoing between West Ham and Juventus regarding the transfer of Denis Zakaria.

The East London outfit have been heavily linked with a move to sign the 26-year-old this summer, after Declan Rice left to join Arsenal.

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to sign a top-class central midfielder in the summer transfer window, if we are to enjoy a successful season.

It seems as though Zakaria could well be the man who Moyes brings in to bolster his engine room this summer…

Denis Zakaria is now closing in on West Ham move

Tuttosport reckon that the Switzerland international could move to the London Stadium imminently.

I believe that Zakaria will be a very solid addition for West Ham, especially if we manage to pick him up for around £15 million.

However, I wouldn’t be spending any more than that kind of money if I were Moyes.

There are plenty of excellent players available in the transfer market this summer, and in my opinion, Moyes should be setting his sights a little higher than Zakaria.

However, the ex Chelsea loanee is a very decent footballer, and would be a strong addition for us on the one condition that Moyes brings in an elite defensive midfielder as well.

Either way, I really don’t won’t this one dragging on for too long.

Moyes needs to get the signing of a central midfielder over the line…and fast.
