After 13 seasons, Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber will retire.

Feb. 9 (UPI) — “I am deeply grateful for the support of numerous individuals and entitles that profoundly influenced my path,” announced Corey Kluber, a longtime pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians and two-time Cy Young Award winner, on his Instagram page on Friday, announcing his 13-year MLB retirement.

Kluber, 37, made 15 appearances for the Boston Red Sox last season and went 3-6 with a 7.04 ERA. In 271 career appearances, he was 116-77 with a 3.44 ERA.

Kluber spent nine seasons with the Cleveland Indians after making his Major League Baseball debut in 2011. Kluber also played for the Tampa Bay Rays, New York Yankees, and Texas Rangers.

“Each chapter was filled with priceless experiences, phenomenal teammates, and the backing of devoted fans, whose steadfast support always moved me to be the very best I could every time I toed the rubber,” Kluber wrote in a letter.

In 2014, the right-hand pitcher won his first Cy Young Award after going 18-9 with a 2.44 ERA over 34 starts. In 2017, the three-time All-Star finished 18-4 over 29 starts with an MLB-best 2.25 ERA to win the award twice.

Kluber oversaw 13 seasons with 1,725 strikeouts. Over 200 strikeouts were recorded by him in five different seasons.

Now that the wait is almost over, let’s review all you need to know before entering Guardians camp:

When is the pitchers’ and catchers’ first practice?
Pitchers and catchers report on February 12 and have their first workout on February 15. On February 18, everyone else will report.

When was the first full-squad workout held?

Where is the team’s training base?
The spring training facility of the Guardians is situated in Goodyear, Arizona. Here’s the address for anyone looking to drop by and work out: 2601 S. Wood Boulevard.

Are fans allowed to workout?
Yes, at the Guardians player development facility, spectators are permitted to stand in a fenced-in viewing area along Field 1’s left and right field lines and Field 2’s left field line. In certain locations, fans can also catch a peek of the action through the outfield fence at Fields 1 and 2. The public can access these designated areas for free every day, usually after 9 a.m. local time.

Stephen Vogt, the manager taking Terry Francona’s place, will be the most notable new face. The following players have been added to the 40-man roster: right-handers Scott Barlow and Ben Lively; catcher Austin Hedges (who isn’t exactly a new face); outfielder Estevan Florial; and infielder Deyvison De Los Santos.
As usual, the Guardians’ first Cactus League game is scheduled for February 24 against the Reds. The teams alternate who plays as the home and away teams since the two clubs share Goodyear Ballpark as their home field. The Reds will be the visiting team and the Guardians the home team for the first game.
Shohei Ohtani, the newest star of the Dodgers, will be visible to the Guardians on March 1 at Camelback Ranch at 8:05 p.m. ET. They will also take on the A’s, their opponents on Opening Day, at Hohokam Stadium on March 7 at 3:05 p.m. On five separate days, Cleveland will play two AL Central opponents:
