Knicks are in serious trouble as injuries keep coming.

The Knicks are trying to survive despite the addition of Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks at the trade deadline, which gives them a little more offensive firepower. However, injuries are becoming worse and several players are missing a lot of time.

Unfortunately, even though Jalen Brunson returned to the team after sustaining a sprained ankle and scoring 39 points, the other four starters in the starting lineup find it difficult to get going. The Knicks have lost their last two games against the Mavericks and Pacers, losing by a score of 14 on Saturday night.
Donte DiVincenzo became more subdued, finishing with 14 points on just 2-of-9 shooting from downtown. Although they struggled defensively, their reserves, Bogdanovic and Burks, combined for 33 points. Things will be well when the Knicks get back to their peak, but for now, they just need to get by, and the All-Star break will provide them with much-needed relaxation.’

Josh Hart, who has noticed how tough it is to play without some of their more important players, is starting to feel the full impact of their losses.

While OG Anunoby recently had surgery to remove a bone spur in his right elbow, the Knicks are patiently waiting for Julius Randle to return from his dislocated right shoulder.

The Knicks have struggled to sustain their remarkable pace due to all of these problems, but they are still in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and are 1.5 games ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers, who could miss out on the top six altogether if Joel Embiid is sidelined for a long period.

Before the All-Star break, the Knicks play two more games: on Monday against the Rockets and on Wednesday against the Magic. The Magic are erratic but still above.500, and the Rockets are among the worst teams in the league, so they should have a good chance to turn things around.

All that matters at this point is that the Knicks should be healthy for the postseason and the team’s final stretch.
