When the game is on the line, Orlando Brown Jr. chooses Joe Burrow over Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.

Orlando Brown Jr., a left tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals, may be the luckiest offensive lineman in the NFL to have played for three different teams.

2024 will mark Brown’s seventh NFL season. He has blocked passes for Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.

As you can imagine, not many players have the same insight into three of the NFL’s top quarterbacks as Brown does. It meant a lot, therefore, when TMZ asked him whom he trusted the most when the game was at stake. However, his answer isn’t particularly surprising.

Brown said to TMZ, “Bro, that’s tough man.” “I’ll stick with my starting quarterback. I’m going with Joe Shiesty. I believe Joe Shiesty will succeed.

In this case, the vast majority of players will choose to stick with their current teammates because the alternative would likely generate more negative publicity and create tension in the locker room. It is not something to read too much into because it is well-documented that Burrow and Mahomes are both excellent choices when the game is close.

Having said that, maybe Brown will be able to block for a healthy Burrow for the majority of the season instead of just a few games the following season. Despite Burrow’s obvious impairment, the team performed admirably to win nine games and It was impressive for the team to win nine games despite Jake Browning and Burrow both obviously hurt. Simply put, when Burrow is well enough to break out of the pocket and prolong the play, this is an entirely different team.

Perhaps Brown’s confidence will pay off the following season when he blocks Burrow on his own game-winning drive in the Super Bowl.
