The Raiders are looking to hire a veteran NFL and college assistant to coach quarterbacks.

The Las Vegas Raiders, led by head coach Antonio Pierce, are currently in the midst of what looks to be a crucial offseason in terms of the team’s future course. After taking over for the team halfway through the previous season, Pierce was named the team’s full-time head coach earlier this offseason. The Raiders are expected to be among the most intriguing teams to watch throughout the 2023–24 season, which begins in September.

Naturally, one of the most important decisions a head coach must make early on is how to assemble the rest of their staff, and it seems that Pierce and the Raiders brass have made progress on at least one front going forward.

“Sources say Rich Scangarello is the front-runner to coach the quarterbacks for the Raiders.” This week, he was in the building, and a deal might be made. On X, the social media site that was formerly known as Twitter, NFL senior reporter Jeremy Fowler stated, “Scangarello has OC experience at the NFL and collegiate levels, lastly with Kentucky.”

In fact, Rich Scangarello has worked on the sidelines for several NFL teams, including the Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, and Oakland Raiders. Most recently, he was the offensive coordinator for the Kentucky Wildcats. The Raiders will also need to decide how to use their picks in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, which takes place at the end of April. This is a significant decision.

Chiefs star Travis Kelce gave Taylor Swift outrageous Valentine’s Day gifts worth $16,000.

After defeating George Kittle and the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are currently enjoying their greatest moment. Despite having a relatively unremarkable regular season—at least by Hall of Fame standards—Kelly mostly bounced back in the postseason, playing a major role in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory and making several huge catches for the team in the closing minutes of regulation and overtime.

Naturally, most of the news coverage of Travis Kelce this year has focused on his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift, who made the incredible journey from her Tokyo, Japan concert to Las Vegas to watch Kelce and his teammates raise the Lombardi Trophy. The couple celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together last week, and it seems like Kelce went all out to buy Swift extravagant gifts.

According to Steve Brenner of The Sun, “Travis spent $2,100 on a stunning arrangement of 250 Eternity roses, which with minimal care and attention can last a whole year.” Taylor received a second $2,100 gift, this time in the form of a vivid hot pink arrangement. And a handcrafted $3,100 rose sculpture by upscale design firm Perigold completed an amazing floral treble.
