Red Bull will help Max Verstappen pursue F1 records in 2024.

Three-time Formula 1 world drivers’ champion Max Verstappen will start the new season with a commanding three-peat championship in 2023.

The Dutchman set an F1 record for the most races won in a season last year, winning 19 of 22 races, demonstrating his unparalleled dominance.

Red Bull is anticipated to lead the field going into 2024, with Verstappen securing pole position for the Bahrain season opener.

If Red Bull and Max Verstappen lead the field once more, they can chase these records.

Four drivers’ titles in a row for Formula One
A single drivers’ championship is a career-defining accomplishment; some of Formula One’s most memorable winners have won several.

A few people have a spell of dominance that perfectly captures their brilliance.

There have only ever been four drivers to win the Formula One championship in four straight seasons:

If Max Verstappen wins the drivers’ championship in 2024, he will be able to join this exclusive group.

Max Verstappen has finished in the top 10 points in his previous 41 races, and history is on his side with the four men listed above being the only other drivers to win three titles in a row.

Lewis Hamilton holds the record for the most point finishes in a row.

From the 2018 British Grand Prix to the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, Hamilton scored points in 48 straight grand prix.

Verstappen’s winning run began when he took the lead in the fourth race of the 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

The Dutchman would set a new record at the Monaco Grand Prix and correspondingly equal the record of 48 points set at this year’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix if he scores points in the first eight races of 2024.

Verstappen has created another possible record with his current run of 41 straight point finishes.

Hamilton’s 48 races in a row also holds the record for the most F1 races finished in a row.

If Verstappen does not retire in any of the first eight races of 2024, he will take over that record.
Even though Max Verstappen is the holder of many records in the sport, a few remain far away.

Before he could possibly match Schumacher and Hamilton’s record of seven championships or Hamilton’s record of 103 race victories—a record the British driver has every intention of breaking—it will take a few more incredible seasons.

Verstappen, however, is breaking numerous records at the young age of 26, including most pole positions and most podium finishes.

In his Formula One career, Verstappen has started from pole 32 times. Two more poles will propel him to an absolute fifth position all-time, surpassing Jim Clark, Alain Prost (33) and Nigel Mansell (32).

If the Dutchman’s season is anything like any of these championship-winning ones, he could move up to fourth place on the all-time list of podium finishes. He is currently ranked seventh.
