On his debut for his new team, a player from Nottingham Forest who was sold in January sustains a serious injury

Steve Cooper signed Laryea to Forest. He became a member of the team in January 2022 and supported right-back Djed Spence, who was promoted, as a backup.

In his short tenure at Forest, the 29-year-old appeared in just five games for the team. Only one of those appeared in the starting lineup, and that was on the last day of the Reds’ exhibition match against Hull prior to the start of the play-offs.
