Football at FSU: Responses to Greedy Vance Jr. Accessing the Transfer Gateway

Regretfully, Greedy Vance Jr. decided on Thursday to use the transfer portal. With the addition of Earl Little Jr. from the portal and a talented group of high school players signed during the previous two recruiting cycles, this move was expected. With 18 tackles, 1 interception, and 3 passes deflected in his strong sophomore campaign, Vance Jr. finally found his groove last year. It is disheartening that the excellent player, who has contributed significantly to the Seminoles, will spend his senior year of college developing somewhere else.

Without a doubt, Vance Jr.’s superior pass coverage and ability to force errors will be missed by Florida State. Still, we hope all the best for him. With just a year remaining before he could attend college, his

The new era in college football has resulted in Vance’s decision to leave. If a player feels they can find a better opportunity to get as much playing time as possible, they are free to leave at any time. With just one year left, Vance will probably continue to split reps with others, so I can’t hold him responsible for this. It’s possible that he can start at a different school. While it might not be as good as FSU, he is still good enough to stay in the P5 and possibly even make an NFL roster in the future. In an effort to get down to the 85 scholarship limit by fall camp, FSU will regain a scholarship, and he will have the chance to make the most of his final year of college.
