Dolphins Apparently Aren’t Very Interested in the OL Prospect

The Miami Dolphins had a strong 11-6 record the previous season, but a lot of people thought they were fake. As a result, they still have a lot of work ahead of them to advance and be considered real Super Bowl contenders.

They boast one of the fastest and most potent offensive attacks in the NFL, but they can still do better in a few areas, chief among them being their offensive line.
They will pick No. 21 in the draft on Thursday, but according to FinsXtra, they aren’t interested in University of Oregon offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson.

The Rimington Trophy, which goes to the best center in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of NCAA football, was won by Powers-Johnson the previous season.

Bo Nix, the quarterback, was able to set the NCAA single-season completion rate record in 2023 with 77.4 percent after he made things easier for Nix.

Miami’s offensive line is not only poor at the moment, but it is even more concerning given quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s history of concussions in 2022 and the ongoing worries about his health.

Despite Tagovailoa’s impressive 2023 season and his first Pro Bowl selection, some believe the Dolphins need to upgrade at quarterback because he is merely an above-average option.

The fact that they only triumphed over one team that had a winning record at the end of the previous campaign added to the perception that Tagovailoa was a mediocre quarterback and that the Dolphins’ entire success was a mirage in the desert.
