This weekend, Graceson Littleton will be returning to Tuscaloosa to visit the Crimson Tide.

Littleton, a defensive back from Wharton High School in Florida who is rated as a four-star prospect for 2025, currently has over thirty college football offers.

The Florida product was offered by the Crimson Tide in March, and he visited the campus later that same month. “It was amazing,” Littleton said of the visit.

After receiving an offer from the Tide, Littleton remarked, “It means a lot, really.” “I’ve known about and witnessed the success of the Alabama program since I was a young child, so it’s definitely cool to have.” Knowing the history of the program adds to my love for it.

“He’s trying to run through your face all the time,” said Chris Braswell.

Chris Braswell and Dallas Turner, two linebackers from Alabama, battled their way into this weekend’s NFL Draft.

“We used a production-points system at Bama,” Braswell remarked. “At the end of the season, he and I would constantly argue over who had the most production points.” In the end, it was a tie at the conclusion of the season. He was in the top three with me. In the end, everything worked out, but that was only internal competition that kept us alert.

In 2024, did Turner receive a tiebreaker in the NFL Draft? The Minnesota Vikings selected him in the first round. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who selected Braswell at No. 57, found him to be “just a great fit in our scheme” in the second round, according to assistant general manager John Spytek.

“This young person traveled to Alabama to participate,” stated Spytek. “He desired to play with the top players.” He trails two extremely elite players, Dallas Turner and Will Anderson. Upon his arrival and conversation with us, we inquired, “Have you ever considered leaving?” No, why would I want to go? Alabama was my choice. Alabama is my favorite state. I have no fear of rivalry. I have confidence in myself. I want to be here.

When the tape is applied, he eventually gets an opportunity to play this year and contributes eight sacks. He’s the perfect guy for us. He is corporeal. He’s constantly trying to get in your face. Every play he makes you work for it, and from what I’ve seen in the league, those guys are hard to block. It wears you out after a while. I want to be here.

According to Braswell, he continued to dig while attending Alabama.

“One of the philosophies I live by is to always remain patient, work hard, and keep my head down,” Braswell stated. “.. I like to keep my head down, work hard, and simply make the most of the opportunities that are presented to me because I’m a really hard worker.

Braswell didn’t start for Alabama until the 2023 campaign, but Spytek wouldn’t characterize his play as raw.

Spytek remarked, “I think Chris is pretty far along in that.” Perhaps he hasn’t had as much football experience as many players you would select in the second round. Indeed, he has played 62% of the snaps this season. However, he arrived

Tampa Bay released Shaquil Barrett this offseason, and now they want to strengthen their pass rush. With 19.5 sacks in 2019, Barrett led the NFL; however, he only managed 4.5 in 2023 before being let go in March due to a salary cap violation.

“These guys are in high demand in the league,” stated Spytek. “You have to have the ability to influence the quarterback, and we believe we have identified that player.” There is always a premium on pass rush. You need to be able to influence this league’s top quarterbacks. Since we play them this year, we need to be able to impact players like Brock Purdy, Jalen Hurts, and Dak Prescott. If not, you won’t have a chance. The pass rush is
