Born in Toronto but raised in Kamloops, British Columbia, Olynyk captained Canada’s FIBA World Cup team that won the bronze medal this autumn. He is one of the athletes who has committed to compete in the July Olympics in Paris.
Olynyk thinks that by having a strong senior men’s team, they will inspire the next generation of players to aim even higher.
