As of 11:00 p.m., the races for the state’s House of Representatives were still uncalled.

In Kentucky’s 40th house district, Democratic Representative Nima Kulkarni received roughly 78% of the vote, but she was not proclaimed the winner. This is because, as a result of a mistake she made when filing for reelection, she is presently in legal limbo while the Kentucky Supreme Court deliberates over whether or not she is even qualified to run for office.

Daniel Grossberg, the Democratic incumbent in House District 30, and Mitra Subedi, her opponent, were separated by just fifty votes. The Associated Press decided not to call the game by 11 p.m. because the margin was that narrow. I recently logged onto Twitter (which I will never refer to as X) with the expectation of seeing

Sadly, I learned that a well-known person had died very recently, along with innumerable other Twitter users (especially UofL fans). That person was a gentleman named Jacori Mozee, and he used the Twitter handle @OyyyeeeCorito86. For most, he was just Corito.

From what I’ve read online, Jacori seems to have been a proud father, a genuine friend to many, and an enthusiastic University of Louisville supporter who never shied away from a good laugh.Louisville football: How Jeff Brohm reshaped roster with portal

From our more intimate conversations on Twitter, I learned that Jacori enjoyed dining at Indi’s Restaurant and tailgating at Louisville Football games. I also discovered that he was intensely loyal through thick and thin and possessed extensive knowledge of Cardinal Athletics. His good nature and amiable demeanor played a major role in his massive social media following.

For Louisville supporters, Corito’s tragic passing will be a helpful and poignant reminder that we should value and treat one another with kindness. Corito was always encouraging and upbeat, even though some UofL programs had experienced tremendous highs and lows recently. I hope that by treating one another with respect and never forgetting that we are all Louisville fans who are passionate about all things University of Louisville, we can help him further in his journey. We are all related to each other in some way because of this.

Jacori Mozee’s funeral arrangements will take place on April 20 at 11 a.m. EST, followed by the funeral. The venue isNew Century Church, which is
