This is the second meeting of these teams this season with Fremantle picking up the win back in round 7 at Optus Stadium 95-71.
Including that game the Dogs and Dockers have met on 9 occasions since the beginning of the 2019 season with Western Bulldogs winning 5.

The Bulldogs backed up their stunning 18 point win over Collingwood in round 12 with   a paltry showing at Marvel last weekend against the Lions.
The Doggies allowed their opponents to score 114 points in the game, the highest total allowed so far this season for the team.
They were outdone in the majority of the statistics as well with Clearances being a big factor, the Lions taking 50-32.

Western Bulldogs Team News

Ed Richards and Cody Weightman will both test their fitness closer to game day and are expected to be in the running for selection.
Luke Cleary and Jordan Croft both suffering from concussion have yet to be given timelines for a return. Hermes, Coffield and Naughton are at least 2-4 weeks away.

Prior to their round 13 bye the Dockers put on a clinic in the top end with a 141-49 demolition of the Demons. Freo racked up 68 Inside 50’s to Melbourne’s 37 and dominated the Clearance battle with 48-23 across the ground.
Fremantle were also unusually accurate in front of the sticks kicking 22 goals to 9 behinds in the game.
