Newcastle United have ‘returned heavily’ for signing – Paul Mitchell leading the charge
Despite the interest being longstanding, it’s stated the AC Milan player is ‘very much liked’ by Mitchell.
As it stands there’s been no offer sent to the Rossoneri from the Magpies, although there’s an insistence they’re ‘very interested’ in securing the young defender.
Thiaw made 30 appearances for Milan last season, with most of those coming as a starter in central defence. He has a contract with AC Milan lasting until June 2027, so unfortunately no price pressure can be put on in that regard.
Gianluca Di Marzio doesn’t mention how much Newcastle United would be prepared to pay for the player or how much AC Milan would want.
