VENDED announces headlining dates and details their debut album.
The Des Moines, Iowa metal band Vended, which includes drummer Simon Crahan and vocalist Griffin Taylor (the sons of Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan and Corey Taylor, respectively), has officially confirmed an album is coming this autumn. The band is coming off a run of recent single releases. September 20 is the release date for the group’s self-titled, self-released debut, which will be accompanied by their first-ever headlining tour.

Vended released three singles in the last year: “The Far Side,” “Nihilism,” and “Am I the Only One.” It is now official that those three songs are included on the group’s 11-song self-titled debut, which was recorded with producer Chris Collier (Korn). As per the band, this collection is exactly what we need at this moment—”pure unrestrained mayhem.”
There is a degree of hostility
In addition to announcing their first-ever run of headlining gigs in the United States to support the release, Vended has also hinted at the possibility of releasing another pre-release song. We previously knew that the band would be playing on Slipknot’s and Knocked Loose’s “Bring the Pain” tour in September, but in order to pursue those stadium slots, they’ll embark on a club tour with opening acts by Lie and seasoned metalcore group Wristmeetrazor.

In 2018, Taylor and fellow Slipknot descendent Crahan started their nu-metal-tinged Vended. In 2021, they released their debut EP, What Is It/Kill It.
