Determining the Ohio State football team’s Big Ten offensive rating

The Ohio State football team is ranked second in the nation, in large part due to their uncanny defense, which is unquestionably the best in the nation. Opponents will find it extremely difficult to throw the ball against the Buckeyes. On the offensive side of the ball, there are still a lot of unanswered questions. Ohio State will have a new starting quarterback in addition to the uncertainty surrounding the starter at right guard and tight end

Having said that, where do the Ohio State Buckeyes stand in the Big Ten for offensive efficiency? Does that immediately make them the top offensive squad as well, given their status of number two? Or can other teams move the ball more effectively and consistently than they do?

In the Big Ten, where does Ohio State’s football team stand offensively?
Oregon has the top offensive in the conference when compared to the other teams. The group surrounding Dillon Gabriel is sick, despite the fact that they will also have a new starting quarterback. It’s possible that the Ohio State football team doesn’t have the greatest receiver in the Big Ten for the first time in a few years.

When it comes to being the greatest receiver in the Big Ten, Tez Johnson is giving Emeka Egbuka a serious competition. In addition to 10 touchdowns, he finished the previous season with nearly 1,200 yards. He is a capable player who will help the Ducks win all of their games this season.

I have more faith in the Buckeye offensive than any other, save Oregon. In terms of talent, Penn State is maybe the next closest, although they are not actually comparable. Compared to the Nittany Lions, Ohio State still has more weapons at their disposal.

Oregon and Ohio State ought to qualify for the college football playoffs. October 12th finds them facing each other as well. That clash is guaranteed to be brutal.
