Denver Broncos vs. Green Bay Packers: How to watch, listen and live stream
The Broncos are preparing for their preseason home opener against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, and the team will look to build off of last week’s promising performance against the Colts.
Head Coach Sean Payton said he was impressed with all three of Denver’s quarterbacks in the preseason opener, and he expects all of them to see the field at home this weekend. Quarterback Bo Nix is expected to make his first NFL start, with quarterbacks Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson expected to follow.
Last week, Nix connected with Courtland Sutton for his first NFL completion, and with Marvin Mims Jr. for his first NFL career touchdown pass. Both Sutton and Mims could look to connect with Denver’s quarterbacks to make an impact this weekend.
Several of Denver’s rookies got off to a quick start last weekend and should look to continue building momentum at home this week. Rookie running backs Audric Estime and Blake Watson, who were responsible for two of Denver’s three rushing touchdowns against the Colts, could look for additional scoring opportunities this Sunday.
Denver will also look to build off of last week’s strong defensive performance. Rookie Jonah Elliss played a key role in a Denver interception and should look to continue applying pressure this week. Cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine, who picked off an Indianapolis two-point conversion attempt, could also look to continue to play a role for Denver’s defense.
Broncos fans in Colorado can tune into the team’s first-ever alternate broadcast of a preseason game. The broadcast, hosted by Super Bowl 50 champions Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr. alongside James Palmer, can be streamed on live.DenverBroncos.com and the Broncos’ official mobile app.
