Caitlin Clark takes over the cornfields in Indiana farm

An Indiana orchard honors the WNBA star with an intricate corn maze, cementing her place as a Midwest icon

Just when you thought Caitlin Clark’s rookie season couldn’t get any more remarkable, an Indiana farm has found a way to elevate her growing legend. County Line Orchard, nestled in Hobart, has turned its cornfields into a tribute fit for a Midwest icon, designing an intricate maze inClark’s likeness. The maze, featuring Clark with her signature No. 22 jersey and a basketball in hand, is now the centerpiece of the orchard’s fall festivities.

As the leaves prepare to change, so does the way Clark is celebrated, with this corn maze representing more than just a fun fall activity. It’s a testament to her rapid rise, showcasing her inspiring influence on women’s sports. The words “We love Caitlin Clark” carved into the sprawling field serve as a bold declaration of admiration, capturing the essence of what the WNBA star means to her growing fanbase.

The orchard’s homage to Clark wasn’t just a creative decision; it was a heartfelt one. In an Instagram post, County Line Orchard explained their vision, saying, “We are celebrating women’s sports by designing our maze in the likeness of Caitlin Clark! Her success and impact on the WNBA is a huge inspiration, and as a proud Indiana business, we wanted to honor her achievements!” And just like that, Clark’s name is immortalized inthe cornfields of the Midwest.

This corn maze, however, isn’t the first time Clark has been honored in larger-than-life fashion. Just last year, butter sculptures of her were on display at the Iowa State Fair, a nod to her dominance during her collegiate days at the University of Iowa. Now, with a WNBA rookie season under her belt, Clark’s stardom has only continued to soar.

Before her rookie debut in May, Gatorade, one of Clark’s major sponsors, unveiled a massive banner featuring her image on the side of the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis. The banner, standing tall above the city, was a powerful signal that Clark was ready to make her mark on the WNBA, and she has not disappointed.

Currently, Clark ranks among the league’s elite, averaging 19.2 points per game and leading the league in assists, dishing out 8.5 per contest. Her ability to score and facilitate has not only helped her team but also earned her a spot in WNBA history as she now stands just 11 assists away from breaking the all-time regular-season assists record.

With four games left in the season, the race is on for Clark to etch her name in the record books. But whether or not she hits that milestone, one thing is clear: her influence stretches far beyond the basketball court. From towering banners in downtown Indianapolis to a corn maze in Hobart, Caitlin Clark’s presence is impossible to ignore-and this is only the beginning.
