The 56-year-old will be on stage for the first time since revealing she has the condition and she did make a vow that she’ll return to the stage despite her serious physical difficulties.

A source told TMZ that she is feeling good ahead of the performance on Friday.

She will certainly feel good afterwards as the event organizers have paid her two million dollars to perform at the ceremony.

She has already been mobbed by fans as she arrived at her Paris hotel to get settled into the city before the big night arrives.

Celine last performed live during her Courage world tour in Newark, New Jersey on March 8 2020. She then cancelled her tour amid the Covid pandemic. Vanity have reported that Dion‘s song will open up the ceremony on Friday.

She previously teased her anticipated comeback would be in Paris, in a recent interview with Vogue France.

She said: “I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!

“For four years I’ve been saying to myself that I’m not going back, that I’m ready, that I’m not ready… As things stand, I can’t stand here and say to you: ‘Yes, in four months’.
