ExWHUemployee predicts new We Ham Unstited bid for James Ward-Prowse

West Ham United are now desperate for new signings and have been predicted to make another offer for James Ward-Prowse, by ExWHUemployee.

The West Ham Way website reported on their website on Thursday (3 August), that despite reports that the Irons had decided to walk away from the deal the Irons are likely to submit another approach for the Southampton midfielder.

David Moyes has been determined to add Premier League experience to his side this summer, with rumours of conflict between him and those in charge of incomings this summer as they are looking towards very different targets.

Discussing whether the Irons will reignite their interest, he said: “It has been said neither club is prepared to budge and that a deal will not happen. I am not convinced this is the case and I think negotiations will continue for JWP.

“It’s in both clubs’ interest to get this deal done. The player has made it clear he wishes to join us to try and keep his England career going and play Premier League football.”

It couldn’t be more clear that Moyes wants Ward-Prowse through the door this summer, he views him as having the leadership characteristics and technical ability to help the Irons navigate the upcoming season without Declan Rice and that should be enough for the Irons to sign him.

Moyes has earned the backing from the board with his fairly consistent success at the London Stadium and last season’s Conference League win and deserves to be rewarded for his success with some new signings. Ward-Prowse also represents a fairly safe deal for the Hammers to complete.

Southampton’s valuation is steep, especially for a Championship player, but if the England international is hopeful for a Premier League return the Irons may well be able to knock a bit of the fee off if the player wants to join West Ham.

Ward-Prowse has been excellent despite the Saints’ struggles in recent seasons and would add an extra dimension to the Hammers’ midfield and even with an expensive fee required remains a much cheaper option than the likes of Joao Palhinha.

Hopefully, West Ham can be successful with their next big and finally get their transfer window up and running.
