Forest now have a couple of weeks to reset ahead of a big FA Cup quarter-final against Brighton and Premier League fixtures against Manchester United and Aston Villa.
Once again, there were a number of top performers from a Forest perspective, with Elanga rightly getting some praise for his two-goal performance.

After the game, Hudson-Odoi was snapped on Ola Aina’s Snapchat story trying to play his present from Sheeran which was signed by the man himself.
Clearly, Hudson-Odoi and Sheeran have a bit of rapport and his new present will likely take pride of place at home.
