EVERTON NOW RIVALLING WEST HAM FOR TRANSFER OF ‘FANTASTIC’ CHELSEA OUTCAST

Chelsea have now given Trevoh Chalobah permission to leave Stamford Bridge in this transfer market amid Everton rivalling Crystal Palace and West Ham United for a deal.

That is according to TEAMtalk, which reports that Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino will not block the transfer of Chalobah. The Argentine has decided to let the 24-year-old find a move away from west London given they Blues sealed the signing of Axel Disasi from AS Monaco.

Disasi added yet another body to Pochettino’s defensive ranks beside Benoit Badiashile, Levi Colwill, Thiago Silva, Wesley Fofana and Chalobah. So, Chelsea have offered him the green light to go. Chalobah also has suitors all around Europe now considering targeting a transfer.

Chelsea give Trevor Chalobah permission to secure a transfer

Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham would all like to keep Chalobah in the Premier League as long as Chelsea do not price them out of his transfer. But the Blues product, who Thomas Tuchel once called ‘fantastic’, is open-minded to moving abroad with various big clubs keen.

AS Roma, Borussia Dortmund, Lyon, Monaco, SSC Napoli and VfL Wolfsburg are among the foreign clubs interested in signing Chalobah. While Chelsea are willing to consider an initial loan transfer with an option to buy if they cannot agree on terms for a permanent transfer.

Despite the widespread interest in Chalobah, Chelsea may struggle to find a team willing to pay for his permanent transfer. The Evening Standard reported earlier in the week that they are demanding £45m for the former England U21 enforcer, who is ready to leave the Bridge.

Everton now join West Ham with an interest in the defender

Everton joining the list of clubs exploring his services may help Chelsea. The Guardian cited West Ham as an option for Chalobah at the end of July. Boss David Moyes is keen to strike a transfer for a right-sided centre-half. Chalobah can also feature as a holding midfielder, too.

Disasi’s arrival in west London has helped to convince Chalobah to leave Chelsea. He played 25 times in the Premier League last term across Tuchel, Graham Potter and Frank Lampard’s tenures. But the Sierra Leone-born star only started in 18 of those games for 1,603 minutes.
