How Wrexham could hand Jamie Vardy to Leeds United in extraordinary transfer twist…
Jamie Vardy would make for an astute piece of business for Leeds United in the Premier League.
The legendary striker will be leaving Leicester City at the end of the season, with Leeds mooted for Vardy.
Daniel Farke will no doubt be looking for a striker at Leeds with Premier League experience and Vardy fits the description to a tee.
After being a Premier League regular since 2014, the striker will be hoping his next move continues in the top flight.
Despite being 39, Vardy has a lot more to offer and now newly-promoted Wrexham might help the Whites land the forward.

How Wrexham can help Leeds United sign Jamie Vardy
Farke might not even be at the club next season, but he will know what a signing like Vardy could do to help the squad.
The plan is that Leeds become a top-eight Premier League team, and although Vardy wouldn’t solve that straight away, he can provide a major boost in keeping Leeds in the Premier League next season.
Patrick Bamford could leave Leeds so Farke will have to consider a replacement, but now Wrexham might help Vardy make the move to Yorkshire.

According to TEAMtalk the Welsh club are interested in Bamford and due to this, his exit could make room for Vardy to arrive at Elland Road this summer.
One source suggests a deal taking him to his next club is more ‘advanced’ than people may think, potentially hinting to Leeds looking to get a deal done early on.

How Vardy compares to Bamford as Leeds decision needs to be made
Both strikers have got a plethora of experience under their belt, but when it comes to being a consistenly lethal goalscorer, Vardy comes out on top.
Bamford has had his moments with the Whites, but after just 16 league appearances this season, the end is looking close.
Of course, Joel Piroe has been excellent for Leeds this season, but someone like Vardy coming in would provide healthy competition, and he’s shown this in the Premier League for years.
Specifically the 19/20 season where he had one of his best campaigns, and comparing it to Bamford’s best in 20/21 it makes for interesting viewing.
Jamie Vardy – 19/20 Premier League Patrick Bamford – 20/21 Premier League
Goals 23 17
Shots/on target 89/43 (48%) 107/48 (45%)
Touches in opposition box 182 174
Chances created 32 30
This deal makes sense for all parties, but it’s up to Bamford to decide whether his time is up with Leeds.
