Southampton Star Only Drawn Loan Interest So Far

Southampton hitman Che Adams, who is a Crystal Palace and Everton target, is only drawing loan interest at the moment, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

The 27-year-old attacker has been widely linked with a move away from St Mary’s following the club’s relegation out of the top flight.

And Adams has no shortage of suitors, as Premier League outfits Everton and Crystal Palace are both claimed to be interested in him.

Everton have signed Youssef Chermiti and they are looking to add another centre forward to Sean Dyche’s line-up.

Crystal Palace are also interested in him, but they want to offload Jean-Philippe Mateta before making a move for a striker.

The striker though is only drawing loan interest at present and not being eyed for a permanent transfer.

Whether that will change as the transfer window ticks by is unclear, as is whether Southampton would agree to loan him.

The forward came on in the second half of Saints’ game against Sheffield Wednesday last Friday and scored the winning goal in their 2-1 victory.

Southampton FC sign exciting young defender from Chelsea’s academy

SOUTHAMPTON FC Women have confirmed the signing of defender Izzy Milne from Chelsea’s academy.

Making her way through the Chelsea FC academy from U12s to U18s, Milne was part of the successful Blues side that most recently won the WSL Academy League Cup, starting every game for the U18s in the 2022-23 season.

Having been offered a scholarship to join Michigan State University, Milne opted to stay in the UK after impressing on trial for Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side this summer.

As well as her successes within Chelsea’s academy set-up, Milne has also been involved with the Young Lionesses, playing alongside Meg Collett and Lucia Kendall in the latest Under-18s camps.

On coming into the Saints side, Milne commented: “I’m really excited to be here!

“It’s a really ambitious club, looking to make it up to that next level and as a young player coming into that environment, it’ll be great for my development.

“There’s a mix of younger and experienced players here, which shows that there’s a pathway, which is important for me too.”
