Rangers ace Todd Cantwell sends message to Tim Krul after Luton Town done deal

Rangers midfielder Todd Cantwell has sent a message to Tim Krul after the goalkeeper completed a move to Luton Town.

The 35-year-old shot-stopper has joined the newly-promoted Premier League club from Championship outfit Norwich City.

Krul and Rangers ace Cantwell spent several years playing alongside one another at the Canaries, both in the Premier League and the Championship.

The 35-year-old Dutchman is Luton’s 10th signing of the summer transfer window as they look to establish themselves in the top flight.

Sending a message to Krul after he completed the transfer, Cantwell posted on Instagram: “Was a pleasure to share the pitch with you Timmy, absolute legend.”

Luton really are doing their utmost to bring in top talent to the club following their promotion from the Championship last season.

They know they will be really up against it this time around, and so manager Rob Edwards will want as much experience in there as possible.

In Krul, he has found one of the most experienced goalkeepers out there, with the veteran shot-stopper certain to help the club both on and off the pitch in the coming months.

The encouraging messages have been flowing in for Krul, with Cantwell among many players getting in touch with the goalkeeper following his move.

Like Cantwell, Krul is very well liked and respected at Carrow Road, with the pair making many fantastic memories together during their time at the Carrow Road outfit.

Now they both have huge tasks ahead, with Krul trying to help keep Luton in the Premier League for as long as possible, as Cantwell tries his best to help Michael Beale’s side close the gap on fierce rivals Celtic.

In other Rangers news, Ally McCoist has shared a Gers prediction for their upcoming Champions League play-off clash against Dutch outfit PSV.
