Leeds boost as report claims London club will listen to offers for new Daniel Farke target

Tottenham Hotspur are willing to listen to ‘any offers’ for new Leeds United target Djed Spence.

That is according to Football London, who report Spence has failed to impress new manager Ange Postecoglou and are now open to letting him leave either on loan or permanently.

Spence currently finds himself behind both Emerson Royal and Pedro Porro in the pecking order at right-back under Postecoglou, with the 23-year-old having been absent from the Spurs squad in both Premier League matches so far.

It is said that Spence is attracting interest from both the Championship and Italy before the end of the window, though is unsure whether he wants to leave the Premier League.

Spence only joined Spurs from Middlesbrough last summer but has struggled to replicate the form he showed at Nottingham Forest in the Championship during the 2021/22 campaign.

Spurs to listen to offers for Leeds target Spence

As per Ben Jacobs, Leeds are one of three Championship clubs keen on a loan deal for Spence, with Bristol City and Swansea also keeping an eye on the situation.

Leeds remain in the market for a new full-back this summer, though at this stage it is unclear whether that will be on the right or left-hand side.

That said, Leeds’ interest in Max Aarons earlier this month would indicate it is right-back they are looking to strengthen with Cody Drameh potentially on his way out.

Clearly Spence will take some convincing in order to make the move to Elland Road as he desperately looks to try and make it in the Premier League.

If Leeds were to bring him in, though, he would represent a significant coup based on his spell at Forest.
