Hugo Ekitike news is shared by West Ham United.

The Frenchman is desperate to work with Moyes.

West Ham United’s probable bid for Paris-Saint-Germain forward Hugo Ekitike is progressing, according to a report.

On deadline day, who will West Ham sign?
The English Premier League is in full swing as prominent clubs seek to complete deals before the 11 p.m. deadline tonight.

So far, manager David Moyes has seen Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse, Konstantions Mavropanos, and Mohammed Kudus sign contracts at the London Stadium.

Kudus, who shone for Ajax last season and for Ghana at the international level, is perhaps West Ham’s biggest signing of the window, with Moyes expressing his joy at the signing.

“I’m delighted that we’ve been able to bring Mohammed to West Ham United,” the manager remarked.

“He’s a fantastic young talent who has already shone at the highest level for Ajax in the Champions League and made well over 150 senior appearances at the age of 23 – it’s no surprise that so many top clubs were chasing his signature this summer.”

“The fact that we were able to bring a player of his undeniable quality to London Stadium demonstrates the pull West Ham now has – the Board and Tim deserve enormous credit for getting this one over the line.”

Despite doing some fantastic business in the last week, the Hammers may not be done yet, as rumors say they are still interested in Juventus winger Filip Kostic.

Meanwhile, Gianluca Scamacca’s early window departure to Atalanta left Moyes significantly short of options in the forward areas, prompting their interest in signing Ekitike from PSG on the final day of the transfer window.

The Frenchman is also being pursued by Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, but according to a Sports Zone story today, he has his heart set on a move to the London Stadium.

Indeed, Ekitike and West Ham are reportedly “in agreement,” and despite the striker’s representation urging him to join Eintracht Frankfurt, little progress has been made.

The 21-year-old is desperate to work with Moyes and has stated that if given the opportunity, he “will join” West Ham today.

Hugo Ekitike, how excellent is he?
Ekitike scored 11 goals in all competitions for his last club before moving to Paris last summer and was complimented for his “superb flair” by Football Talent Scout Jacek Kulig.

Despite struggling to get into the PSG team recently, the young forward might be viewed as a player with enormous potential considering his age and opportunity for improvement.

Former coaches have lauded Ekitike in the past, including former Reims boss Oscar Garcia, who told BeIN Sports’ Ligue 1 broadcast, through Chronicle Live, that he is a “quality” attacker.

“There is something very special about him,” Garcia stated.

“He’s young and has the potential to be a very good player.” He’s a young man with a lot of potential but also a lot of work to do in training.”
