CITY OF MANCHESTER DAHOU, A MIDFIELDER, JOINS THE BLACKBURN ROVERS ON A DUAL-REGISTRATION BASIS.

Blackburn Rovers have completed the dual-registration signing of Manchester City midfielder Jemima Dahou.
This morning, the Lancashire club confirmed the news on their official club website.

The teenager will join Blackburn Rovers for the duration of the 2023/2024 season. The athlete will benefit from regular first-team football in the Barclays Women’s Championship as a result of the move.

Dahou rose through the Manchester City junior system and made her senior debut in a Women’s FA Cup fixture against Nottingham Forest in the 2021/2022 season. The midfielder has since made a few more senior appearances, and she scored her maiden goal for The Cityzens in an 8-1 Women’s FA Cup triumph over Bristol City last season. The teenager will be another handy option for Blackburn Rovers head coach Simon Parker as his club looks to maintain their rise in the Championship.

Dahou is expected to be named to Blackburn Rovers’ team for today’s Barclays Women’s Championship match against Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium. Following last weekend’s excellent home victory against Birmingham City, the Lancashire club will be aiming for a fruitful journey to the South Coast.
