Tottenham Hotspur has ‘nearly’ agreed to sell defender to a European team.

According to multiple sources, Davinson Sanchez is on the verge of joining Galatasaray.

Tottenham failed to sell some undesired players before the European transfer deadline on Friday night, with the likes of Sanchez, Eric Dier, Tanguy Ndombele, and Hugo Lloris remaining at Hotspur Way.

Some of those players, though, could leave N17 in the following two weeks, as Turkish clubs can recruit players until September 15.

There have been reports in recent days that Galatasaray are interested in signing Ndombele (Lyall Thomas) and Giovani Lo Celso (Fabrizio Romano).

The transfer of Davinson Sanchez to Galatasaray is almost complete.

It has now been revealed that the Turkish giants are close to finalizing a deal to sign Sanchez.

Rudy Galetti, a journalist, has resorted to social media to declare that the deal to bring the Colombian to RAMS Park is ‘nearly’ complete. He stated that the final details of the transfer are being worked out, and that a formal agreement is expected soon.

Meanwhile, Sports Digitale journalist Yagz Sabuncuoglu claims that Sanchez’s agent will soon travel to Istanbul to finalize contract negotiations with Galatasaray.

Spurs Online Opinion

Tottenham made the right decision since Sanchez only has a year left on his contract and is just not good enough on the ball to be a squad player for Postecoglou’s Spurs. The club will be hopeful that they can persuade Ndombele to join them in Turkey.
