Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min has claimed that he “can’t wait” to play alongside Brennan Johnson.

The Tottenham Hotspur player is now on international duty with South Korea, who will face Wales on Thursday.

Tottenham completed the signing of the Dragons forward on transfer deadline day for a rumoured fee of £47.5 million.

Johnson joined Spurs after a meteoric rise to fame at Nottingham Forest, where he worked his way up through the ranks.

Last season, the 22-year-old had eight goals and three assists in the league for the Reds, and ten goals overall.

Johnson’s contributions aided Steve Cooper’s side in retaining their Premier League status in their first season back.

‘He will feel the strain.’
And Son is ready to face the youthful forward once the international break is over.

“Brennan is another new player,” he says, according to the Evening Standard.

“He demonstrated his quality at Nottingham Forest last year, and I can’t wait to see him with my own eyes.”

“He’s a very good player with a lot of talent.” Hello and welcome to the Spurs! I’m excited to play with him.

“It’s only been four games, and we’re hoping to keep the momentum going with our new signing Brennan.”

“When he comes to Spurs, he wants to improve and advance.”

“He’ll feel the pressure, but I can’t wait to get him in there

Our team is playing faster and more attacking football.”

In our opinion
Let’s not go too far ahead of ourselves because it’s still early days, but Postecoglou appears to have the Midas touch.

He has transformed Tottenham’s squad into one that is pleasing to the eye, cohesive, deadly in attack, and solid at the back.

Postecoglou did, perhaps, make too many changes in the League Cup, but even then, it was a penalty shootout loss rather than a regular-time thrashing.

The Spurs manager is also known for striking gold in the transfer market, and Johnson appears to be a good fit for the Lilywhites.

Tottenham fans will undoubtedly be watching Thursday’s game in anticipation of seeing two of their offensive stars in action.
