The club has turned down a €25-30 million offer. Wolves’ bid for a player is causing an issue for the club – Setting an extremely high standard

Wolverhampton Wanderers sought to recruit a midfielder before the transfer window closed, and one of the first players they pursued was RC Strasbourg’s Habib Diarra.

A €25 million offer was made, but the Ligue 1 club turned it down since they no longer needed money after being bought out by BlueCo.

They did, however, agree to sell Jean-Ricner Bellegarde to Wolves for roughly €15 million, and their stance on Diarra, according to journalist Marco Conterio, who talked to Raidue and was conveyed by Juve News, was a powerful message to all clubs.

This is because Juventus are also interested in the young midfielder, and there have been reports that the Serie A club is on the verge of signing him.

That is not the case, and the fact that Wolves’ huge proposal was rejected is something Juventus must consider.
“He’s one of the names they follow,” he explained. Given Juventus’ absence from the Champions League this season, there is an issue. Wolverhampton’s offer of €25-30 million was rejected by Strasbourg. These are significant figures for Juventus. Choosing whether or not to invest in the player is undoubtedly a difficult decision.

“He is, however, one of those profiles that is leading Juventus to a new market direction, towards the Diarras.” He’s the type of profile they’ll look for in the middle.”

It remains to be seen whether Wolves decide to give it another shot in the future, but it’s evident that Strasbourg will not let him go cheaply, if at all, and Juventus will be aware of this.
