Stoke City vs. Norwich team news, including injury updates on Travers, Stevens, Vidigal, and Mmaee.

Clayton Wood provides team news as Stoke City prepare for their Championship match against Norwich.

Stoke City will make four changes to their starting lineup for their trip to Norwich.

Mark Travers and Enda Stevens have withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland’s European Championship qualifier against Holland on Sunday, while Andre Vidigal and Ryan Mmaee are still healing from injuries that kept them out of the previous game before the international break.

While it is a relief that all are close to returning to fitness, it is a setback for Stoke that they might be without one, two, three, or all four vital players for a crucial match at Carrow Road.

“It will be late calls (on Travers and Stevens),” Alex Neil predicted. “There will be more late calls (on Vidigal and Mmaee).”

“There’s nothing worse than losing players.” You stated four players, and based on recent games, you could argue that all four would start. It’s possible that all four will be unavailable on Saturday, which would be inconvenient.”

Travers is the most likely candidate, but Jack Bonham is on standby. Stevens might be replaced by either deadline day signing Lynden Gooch or Junior Tchamadeu, who suffered a calf injury against France last Thursday.

Vidigal suffered an ankle injury at Millwall, while Mmaee was forced out with a hamstring injury in a cup win over Rotherham.
